The 2015 National Lawn & Garden Show was a huge success! More than anything else, Buyers walked away seeing new, quality, and unique products and Vendors walked away having met face to face with key decision making buyers of their choosing. Besides this, here are a few of the highlights that stick out to us as NLGS Staff:
Watching all the new Vendors learn the routine of speed dating buyers. – Seeing the amount of brand new vendors present at the opening reception. – Seeing VIA Event attendees laugh, ride horses, dance, and play games together. – Meeting buyers for the first time who we have been asking to come for years and who are excited to come back next year. – The honest and candid freshman orientation meeting the night before appointments began. – Hearing over and over, “This is the most productive I’ve ever been at a show.” – Great conversation about business, family, and life. – Meeting with buyers one on one and learning what they see, want, and who they are.
This year as in years past, we have heard suggestions, critiques, an ideas from many who love the even and are committed to seeing it thrive. There are a few requests that just have not been feasible – until this year. Keep an eye out for a blog coming in 2016 based off of your feedback!
Cheers to a productive and fun 2015 and here’s to an even better
